Comely Mr. Williams studied jazz and classical piano at the University of North Texas, while perfecting his impeccable "lounge lizard extraordinaire" persona in the up-scale clubs of the Dallas area, wowing listeners in that city for the last seven years. A veteran of dynamite local band Fletcher, he has also managed and performed with his own jazz trio for the last four years. This photogenic and affable phenom hails from the pungent and fertile land where, as he maintains, " all music began": Weatherford, Oklahoma. (He reports, however, that his surrey has a leather top.) Asked to sum up his existence in 25 words or less, Mr Williams responds, "I'm afraid of clowns, but admire the profession. I'm the son-of-a-speech and theater teacher."
